Preproduction of thriller opening

We began preproduction of our thriller opening by having a discussion as a group. We firstly began to brainstorm ideas for the title of the film, casting, job allocation, plot and setting. We had also previously all watched Thriller openings from both recent and old films. What stood out for all of us in the group was the opening of the 2014 production Gone Girl. Whilst brainstorming we drew up and expanded on some of our initial ideas. We jotted down all ideas at this stage even if we found the idea would not work for us. This is due to the fact later in the filming process we may be able to add certain elements of a revisited idea. After this we decided to create a production schedule, this allowed us to plan exactly when we will shoot, where and what equipment or props we will need. The thought the production schedule necessary in hope to keep order and keep our production on track. We collated all of ideas and recorded this video showing what we had decided on in the early stages of preproduction.
